TOP PET MODEL Contest

Your pet could be the spokes model for Choice Pet's next newsletter!  Just send a picture of your family friend and tell us a little bit about him or her.  Is your dog a style hound?  Is your cat eco-friendly?  Does your gold fish earn top marks for personality?  We love them all so email us your pictures and stories to newsletter@choicepet.com.  We will contact the winner so be sure to include your name, address and telephone number.

Our partner business of the month is Grooming Tails.  We chose Grooming Tails because of their dedication to your pet.

Julie and her staff are passionate, loving pet owners.  Their mission is to offer the same quality services that they would expect for their pets.  Located in Scottsdale, Grooming Tails is a large, well lit, air conditioned facility with a unique design....ALL grooming is visible so you can freely observe and feel assured that your pet is getting loving professional care.  Your pet will leave smelling fresh, looking gorgeous and feeling like a very special pet.

Is Your Pet Summer Ready?
Flea
Fleas

It's that time of year...time to get your pet ready for the scorching months ahead.  And with heat comes fleas. In addition to carrying Advantix and Frontline, we recommend Natural Chemistry as a natural alternative to flea and tick control.

Vacation
Taking your best friend on a vacation with you this summer?  Don't forget the portable water bowls, outdoor kennels, travel bags and pet strollers.  Or perhaps boating is in your vacation plans?  Then don't forget your pet's life jacket.  And for those relaxing evening walks, a reflective vest will keep your pet protected.  Any of our pet professionals can assist you with your pet's vacation packing list.

Training
If your pet is trying your patience and not coming when called, a remote control trainer may be just what you need.  With the remote control training system, you can train your dog using a hand held transmitter via your dog's collar. Once trained, you will be able to take your pet wherever you go - more freedom for you and your pet!

Summer Heat Reminder
It's hot in Arizona and your pet needs your protection.  To prevent heat stroke, don't leave your pet in the car.  Even in the shade with the windows cracked, your car can reach 100F degrees in a matter of minutes.

Upcoming Healthy Pet Seminar
Don't forget to join us at the Scottsdale Choice Pet on Saturday May 15th at 11:00 as Randall Thomas provides a 90 minute look into Enhancing Your Pet's Immune System.
